Greater Good Food Fair is on October 26th, 11am-4pm at Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco.This free event celebrates real food - sustainably and fairly grown, and free of genetic modification. The Fair will feature live music, speakers, organic and regionally-produced foods from local businesses, cooking demonstrations, and a farmers’ market. Panel discussion topics are "Food Integrity in Our Local Systems", "Social Responsibility: Pathways to Community Well Being", and "Community Gardens Responding to Community Needs". A keynote address by Tezozomoc, community garden advocate and National Defense Council’s Growing Green Food Justice Leader of 2013, will highlight the event. See

The Clement Street Merchants are hosting a Halloween costume parade for the kiddos, and the Richmond YMCA will be out all day offering parachute games and an obstacle course, and will also host 10 minute Zumba classes between 12 to 2 p.m.! Sports Basement will be setting up on Arguello to do free minor bike repairs, and if you don't have a bike, Parkwide will be at Arguello and McAllister offering free bike rentals for one hour! There are many amazing folks who will be out, including Purusha Yoga, Wild Equity Institute, San Francisco Sea Scouts, and tons more! Click here to see all of the planned activities.

We have announced the March Against Monsanto 2.0 for next year 5/24/14! We will also be active and setting up some other actions both online and with boots on the ground before then so stay tuned!
